Theme Installation<\/h4>\n

Navigate to Appearance -> Themes -> Install Themes<\/code>. Go to Upload, and select the file studio9.zip<\/code> and studio9-child.zip<\/code> within the zipped file you downloaded from ThemeForest.net. Hit \u2018Install now\u2019 and the theme will be uploaded and installed. This may take some time.<\/p>\n

FTP Upload<\/strong><\/p>\n

Using your FTP client, upload the non-zipped studio9<\/code>\u00a0and studio9-child<\/code> folder into the wp-content\/themes folder on your server. Go to Appearance -> Themes<\/code> and activate the theme. The template is now installed and activated.<\/p>\n

Replicate the Live Demo<\/h4>\n

We suggest that you import the dummy contents and theme options settings to duplicate our Live Preview to see how the contents if built.<\/p>\n

Dummy Contents<\/strong><\/p>\n

Go to Tools -> Import -> WordPress<\/code> and upload the @IMPORT\/dummy-contents.xml<\/code> file. Follow the on screen instructions. This process may take some time, make yourself a favour and brew a cup of coffee.<\/p>\n

Theme Options<\/strong><\/p>\n

Go to Theme Options -> Import\/Export<\/code> and copy the content of the file @IMPORT\/theme-options.txt<\/code> within the Import From File<\/code> text area and then click on Import<\/code>\u00a0button.<\/p>\n

Menu Configuration<\/h4>\n

Studio 9\u00a0require custom menus to work. You can find the custom menus management under Appearance -> Menus<\/code>.<\/p>\n

Creating your Menus<\/strong><\/p>\n

You\u2019ll need to create at least one new menu for the Primary Navigation<\/code> area, which is located within the top header.<\/p>\n

Click the Create a new menu<\/code> to add a new menu.<\/p>\n

Now, on the left hand side, select the pages you would like to have added to the menu. You can then click Add to Menu<\/code> and they will show up on the right side of the page. You can drag the pages around to arrange them the way you\u2019d like.<\/p>\n

Now that you have the menu created, you need to assign it in the Theme Locations located at the bottom.
